I'm a little embarrassed to report that I have dropped my work phone in some water and it no longer works. Is that water possibly the toilet. . . .um yes, yes it is. I'm sorry Neil and Sara, I told you it was the kitchen sink because I was too embarrassed to tell u that I dropped it in the potty and broke it forever! Anywho, if you are a client trying to call me, I'm not getting my messages but I am hoping to have this resolved sometime today. Grrrrrrrrrrr. :) I will be checking my email messages throughout the day, so if you need to get ahold of me drop me an email. I'll let you know when I'm up and running again! photographybyshellee@yahoo.com

youth is wasted on the young!
I had so much fun with this last week. These beautiful girls are all running for Miss Washington. . . I'm actually not sure what the title is. We did some headshots the other night and the girls did such an awesome job presenting themselves. Best of luck to each of you!

A Very Draper Easter. . .
We Drapers had a very nice Easter this year. The Easter Bunny brought us a new trampoline. We have a teeny tiny back yard, so the enclosure really helps to keep the soccer balls inside the wall. Ya, it's a little bit ugly, but hey two little boys have a GRAND time in it and that's all that matters right? RIGHT! Anyway, we had fun dying our eggs and dining on Ham and Cheesy potatoes. The weather was GORGEOUS here. I actually went in and changed to shorts because I was too hot. Ya gotta love the Spring in ST George! Here are a couple of shots that show just how much fun we had. . . :) Oh and we got a telescope too. It was not an expensive one AT ALL, actually on clearance at Wally World. It is so fun! We actually saw Saturn the first night we had it. It was so bizarre to be looking at Saturn and it's rings from our back yard. Am I the only one that has never experienced that? Ok, NOW you can look at the pictures. . .

Jesh de Rox
This post is more for my photography friends than it is my clients! Ok, it's more for me. I had the opportunity to meet a really great photographer at a conference that I recently attended. He's a really inspirational guy and just groundbreaking in his approach to photography. Very inspiring!
I do have to give a little disclaimer about this picture. It was obviously taken by Innovative Photography. Ryan Christensen is a great photographer that I met at my convention. Ryan is the guy right in front kneeling on the floor. He is located in Clearfield, Utah. I hope he doesn't get mad at me for stealing this picture!!!!! Love ya Ryan! www.innovativephotography.com

Chelsi and Abel
I had a fun time shooting this couple not to long ago. They are really in love and they just treat each other so well. It was fun just to be around them! I'll be posting their wedding formals soon!

Shel's Barbies!
I have this friend who is a photographer, and we have been talking doing this shoot for a couple of months. She has a 7 year old daughter that was born two weeks after my little boy Tait. Then she had a little girl about 20 months ago and a little boy about a year ago. See why Shellee took the pictures? No it was really fun. They are cute kids and I just love them! You can tell that Abby, the oldest is totally giggling at me. She just warms my heart! I love first graders. . . there's just something about no teeth.
