A little fun. . .

This was on Ellen yesterday and it's just funny. I've been busy and stressed out and crazy, and I needed some fun so here it is! Hope it makes you smile too!

I shot this cute little boy's "one year old" pictures the other day. He is the child of a thousand faces. I laughted all through my editing! I shot his mom and dad's wedding awhile back, and it is always fun to stay in touch with people. Thanks guys!

The Hintons Continued!

I posted the one shot of this cute family a couple of weeks back. The Hintons are friends of ours, which makes me a little biased I guess, but I think that these three little girls are just about as cute as it comes! Thanks Russ and Meg! It was fun.

Aubrey!

This week Aubrey makes my blog! She is such a great little poser. I had so much fun shooting her family recently. She just turned 8 a couple of days ago. Aubrey had some moves all ready to bust out for me and this is my favorite! Isn't she a cutie?

The Donnelly Family!

Yep, I'm in family picture mode right now! I shot this sweet family a couple of weeks ago here in Washington. Their little boy was so darling! We had a fun couple of hours and got some great shots of little Ian, but by the end he was soooo done with me! I can't blame him.

Joy and Ben and Co

I shot Ben and Joy and their two cute kids the other night. I had so much fun it didn't feel like work at all! Lydia was not loving me at first, but she warmed right up and showed me what a cute little warm smile she has. Little Mckay is only I think about a month old, maybe not even that in the pictures. They had a little scare with him when he was born. I'm so glad that it all turned out great! He's a doll and he is going to look EXACTLY like Ben someday! They brought aunt Jill along to help Lydia smile and I must say, it helped! Joy has a really great sense of style and I loved what she dressed everyone in! They turned out really fun. Enjoy!

Halloween/Veterens Day

Well, today's post represents where I am in life. . . a little overwhelmed! It's pretty sad when you go to put one holiday on and another one is already here! I wanted to post some halloween pics and also a little ode to veterens day. Here in Washington, our park had tons of flags and the little photographer in my just couldn't resist! My kids were so not having it. I have been doing all these families and the kids are obviously one of the biggest challenges with that. My kids are usually pretty good about pictures, but they were both stinkers this time. In one of them Tait has tears in his eyes. It should be noted that I had tears in my eyes behind the camera trying to get ONE decent shot of my own kids! I swear. And I did swear! :)

I have gotten really behind on my blog. Tis the season for family pictures! I have been busy with my normal wedding workload and then to add families it just pushes a girl over the edge! Not really, it's all good and I love the work, but I do let my blog go. I shot this cute family last night at sundown and I went in to look and see how they turned out and this was the first picture I pulled up. I think they are the most darling little girls! Thanks Hintons! There will be more to come. . .

Make a WISH!

Ok, my toes are literally tingling as I write this! I have a really fun friend who shall remain nameless to protect her innocence, but she took me to do the most fun thing I've done in YEARS the other day! If you know me, you know that I can be a quirky gal. I really have this almost ocd thing about certain shows. I just have to watch them every day as part of my day. I get in bed every single night and I HAVE to watch the first 15 minutes of Leno. LOVE it. It's just how I've ended my day for years and years. Every morning I have a little routine that I do and I end up doing my hair and making my bed while I'm watching the first 15 minutes of a little show called. . . "Good Things Utah". If you've never seen it, it's kind of "The View" for Utah. I really enjoy watching it and I've seen nearly every day of it in the past five years. SO, we went to a live show the other day and we NEARLY missed it. We were running late, it was all very funny. We sat right in the front row, and as soon as it was over, we ran up and go this shot!!!! (Notice Reagan's arms around SHEL!)
